AI System Architect

Based in Oxford, our client, a fascinating early stage (and well-backed) start-up is seeking an AI System Architect. Hybrid working is available.

This DeepTech company is developing revolutionary optical switch design technology that will fuel massive advances in AI. They are set to grow significantly over the coming years, and now seek an experienced AI System Architect to develop optical systems targeting large-scale AI. This is a chance to really chart your path on this very new technology and be pivotal in the company’s growth over the next year.

Requirements for the role AI System Architect:

• Extensive experience with Hardware System Architecture, with the ability to transform conceptual ideas into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs
• An understanding of data centre network architectures, including high-speed switching fabrics, switch hierarchies, and network topologies
• An understanding of the complexities and technical requirements (large scale AI) for switches; for instance, how to increase bandwidth to connect all the different nodes to improve performance
• Proficiency in performance analysis, modelling, and power optimization at the system level.
