Analog | Mixed Signal | RFIC Design - EU

I am recruiting for an Analog IC Design Engineer with a strong research background on behalf of my client, an innovative semiconductor company developing high performance microelectronic products for secure data applications.

You will be part of a small, highly skilled team engaged in analog, mixed signal and RF IC design. This role offers the chance to work across the full development cycle – from early-stage research and architecture through to silicon validation.

The position can be based remotely or from several key locations across the US.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design and optimise analog, mixed signal and RF circuits including LNAs, VGAs, PLLs, DACs and ADCs
  • Drive schematic capture, layout, simulation and design validation
  • Work closely with digital teams to integrate analog blocks into SoC architectures
  • Support tape-out processes and lead post-silicon validation, debug and characterisation
  • Stay informed on emerging semiconductor process technologies and best practices
Ideal background and experience:
  • Solid foundation in analog, mixed signal and RF circuit design
  • Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso for schematic, layout and simulation
  • Experience with CMOS or SiGe BiCMOS processes, with a focus on low-noise layout techniques
  • Familiarity with parasitic extraction, EM modelling and RF interference mitigation
  • Practical lab experience using VNAs, spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes
This position would suit either a PhD-qualified candidate with some industry experience or an engineer with at least 5 years of relevant industry background.

My client offers a competitive compensation package, including remote working options, employer-paid healthcare, flexible time off, and a strong 401K match.
