An Analog IC Design Lead is required for a new design team to be based in Cambridge developing novel photonic-electronic architecture that will bring fully homomorphic encryption to the world. As the Analog IC Design Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design and development of high-performance IC drivers, including Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIAs) and circuits supporting silicon photonics components such as SerDes, PHY circuits, and other critical driver modules. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful integration of products in cutting-edge optical communication systems.
Industry degree qualified the successful Analog IC Design Lead will have 10+ years experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC design with a strong emphasis on drivers for silicon photonics components, including PAM-5, SerDes, and PHY.
You will be have experience with industry-standard EDA tools (eg Cadence, Synopsys), with experience in CMOS and/or BiCMOS process technologies and with in-depth knowledge of Mixed Signal design principles, including signal integrity, noise analysis, and power management.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities are required to guide a team and collaborate effectively with other groups. A proven track record of successfully delivering high-performance mixed signal IC designs to market is ideal.
