Analog Layout Lead

This is an opportunity for an experienced IC Layout Engineer to join a well established semiconductor company working on the design and production of integrated circuit based systems. These are used within a variety of applications including defence and mobile.

Throughout this role, you will work as Layout Lead based on their Dublin site.

If you are the successful candidate you will help to design RF products for applications in cellular handsets.

The responsibilities of the IC Layout Lead Engineer include:

• Mentor junior layout engineers.
• Working on the full RF and analog layout design.
• Layout size optimisation of SOI and CMOS.
• Have responsibility of the data documentation, data archiving and tape out process.
• Work on the floor planning of highly integrated RF circuits.
• Work on the analog, RF and microwave integrated circuits for a variety of markets.

Additional qualifications include: 

• Relevant experience to a mid-level
• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or relevant
• Experience with CAD layout tools
• A clear understanding of process technologies such as CMOS.
