Analog | Mixed Signal | RFIC Design
This is a new opportunity for an Analog/Mixed Signal Lead Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company based in Edinburgh working on low-power, high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal IC Designs in advanced CMOS processes for consumer applications. It represents a great opportunity to work in an environment focused on innovation where you will be inspired by the best in their field and have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects.
In this role you will be joining the team developing high-performance data converter IC's and amplifiers and you will be involved in the design of high-performance delta-sigma/SAR ADC’s and DAC’s as well as participating in the design of various classes of amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes.

In this role you will be joining the team developing high-performance data converter IC's and amplifiers and you will be involved in the design of high-performance delta-sigma/SAR ADC’s and DAC’s as well as participating in the design of various classes of amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive and decide key technical system requirements for mixed-signal IC development
- Build the analog toplevel, defining power strategy and toplevel layout
- Simulation of toplevel systems in Virtuoso Spectre
- Lead design reviews
- Mentoring other engineers
- Review and sign-off of the chip top level for tape out
