ASIC DESIGN – ML/AI
Do you want to use your RTL design knowledge to build high performance VPUs (vector processing units) for accelerating various AI/ML related applications? I am looking for an exceptional individual who can define key hardware components of VPU and design with the best quality hardware language.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multi-site HW and architecture teams to understand the overall microarchitecture, identify vector instructions to execute and design VPU datapaths for the instructions. You will also play a key role in defining the vector instruction set architecture of company’s NPUs.
You will join a newly created team in Cambridge and get the opportunity to work on challenging tech and clean sheet design as well as having an accelerated career path/growth!

Experience
- Experience in logic design, functional and PPA closure.
- Hands on experience in VPU design with any vector extension ISA. (SVE, AVX, RISC-V)
- Knowledge of vector processing, computer architecture, memory subsystem architecture and various number systems.
- Verilog, SystemVerilog skills
- Knowledge of AI hardware accelerators and Machine learning would be an advantage
