ASIC Design Engineer

Are you an experienced ASIC Design Engineer looking to work on the next generation of cutting-edge technology? Role Overview:

As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will take a pivotal role in designing and developing complex ASIC products that push the boundaries of performance and scalability. Working from specifications through to final product release, you will participate in defining design methodologies, implementing cutting-edge features, and optimising for efficiency and performance. Collaboration with skilled, world-class technical teams will be key, and you will contribute to defining best practices and advancing our design standards.

This role offers a stimulating and innovative environment where your expertise will make a direct impact. As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers, exchange knowledge, and support a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for ASIC Design Engineers with a strong foundation in digital design and high-performance electronics, along with a drive to innovate. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven experience working on complex ASIC design projects
  • Proficiency in digital design languages such as Verilog or VHDL
  • Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, place and route, and design verification
  • Experience with high-performance, low-latency, high-bandwidth design standards
  • Knowledge of cache coherence protocols and memory subsystem design
  • Proficiency with low-power design techniques and optimisation for area, power, and performance
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation of design workflows
  • Knowledge of CXL, UPI, or similar high-performance interfaces
