Internal Sales Representative – Electronics – Leicester

Internal Sales Representative required for a global electronics manufacturer based in Leicestershire.

Suitable candidates will be comfortable engaging with customers to obtain deep understanding of project requirements and needs, and to provide solutions to meet customers requirements.

You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of OEM customers across Europe, as well as managing all inbound enquiries.   This role will also involve being pro-active and uncovering new customers and projects.

You will be comfortable maintaining and updating CRM and pipeline reports, as well as negotiating on pricing to generate revenue and high margins.

Previous sales experience would be advantageous, however will also suit university graduates who are keen to build a long-term career within electronics.

Candidates will be office based in Leicestershire, and you will be offered a fixed salary of up to £35,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Requirements:
  • Previous internal sales/business development/account management experience would be advantageous, but not a must
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, and be comfortable engaging with customers across Europe.
  • Experience of the Electronics/Semiconductor industry would be highly advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and understand electronic components
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
