My client, a leading provider in electrical components and connectors, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the company's customer base.

- Generate new business opportunities within the defined region.
- Conduct sales into OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) clients.
- Execute approximately 6-8 customer visits per week to nurture relationships and close deals.
- Identify, approach, and develop relationships with potential clients in the Test and Measurement, Medical, and Defence/Security markets.
- Drive the sales of electrical components and connectors, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Utilise your sales expertise to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Demonstrate the technical benefits of our products to prospective clients.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in an electrical-related area. Experience in connectors is a significant advantage.
- Strong sales experience in the OEM sector.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- A self-motivated and results-driven approach to business development.
- Flexibility to work from home and meet at our Worthing HQ every 1-2 months.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the defined region (anticipated mileage: 20,000-25,000 per annum).
- Possession of a valid driver's license and comfortable with the use of a company car.
- Drive and ambition to work towards higher-level positions within the company.
