C++ Audio Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled C++ Audio Software Engineer to join our dynamic client. As a C++ Audio Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and enhancing audio software applications. Your expertise in C++ programming, combined with a deep understanding of audio processing and digital signal processing (DSP), will contribute to the creation of high-quality audio software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ software applications for audio processing, synthesis, and digital effects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement audio software requirements.
• Optimise audio algorithms and implement efficient code to ensure optimal performance and low-latency audio processing.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of audio software components.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio software technologies to drive innovation and maintain technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C++ programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Experience in audio programming and digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms.
• Familiarity with audio libraries and frameworks (e.g., PortAudio, JUCE, or similar).
• Solid understanding of real-time audio processing and low-latency considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimise code for performance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
