C++ Rust Software Engineer

My client is a modern UAV company, developing innovative products for complex industrial security and defence operations. They are looking for an experienced C++ Rust Software Engineer to join a small team, helping with the design and implementation of their next-generation features for UAV's. You'll be responsible for designing, developing and testing new features for UAV systems and components, meeting their clients requirements and industry standards. 

They are looking for someone to work within the product team to turn ideas into marketable UAV products based on customer needs, budgets and market research. Their back-end is written in Rust, so having knowledge and experience or a passion to work with Rust is imperative. You'll need the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and have experience with developing Android applications.

Working model: 80% remote, 20% on site - Reading

What's required?

• Development experience with C++ and Rust
• Experience developing Android applications
• Experience with ML based object recognition - inference and training
• Knowledge of UAV systems and components
• Bonus - knowledge of UAV flight controller software
