Computational Neuroscientist

I am seeking a Computational Neuroscientist with key strengths and expertise in speech and complex seq2seq / sequence2sequence experience. Please note the speech and/or seq2seq is a must to be considered! My client is a seriously exciting start-up driven to advance humanity to the next stage of personal computing, through the creation of a new non-invasive brain-computer interface device.

We can consider a hybrid model of working for this role but you must be close enough to London, UK to come into the office when needed.

Primary responsibilities
  • Developing and experimenting with advanced machine learning models for decoding language from the brain
  • Implementing and refining natural language processing algorithms and sequence to sequence models
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary neural engineering team members to produce innovative solutions 
Required experience
  • PhD from a top 100 QS globally ranked institute in Computer Science
  • Expertise in AI and ML Research in relation to speech and complex seq2seq problems, which should be evident via recent publications
  • Graph network analysis and/or time-series analysis
  • Deep Learning, experience with transformers highly beneficial
  • Python, TensorFlow
