Device Engineer

Our innovative client is currently searching for a Device Engineer to join the R&D team to develop new products for a broad range of applications. The role will focus on the design, fabrication and test of new devices for high speed products. The role will involve experimenting with new device designs and fabrication process flows using equipment in the shared clean-room facility. Analysing device data will be required as well as working with technical management to develop new products on time and within budget.

Required skills for the Device Engineer will include:

• Semiconductor process experience including photolithography, etch, deposition and metrology
• Familiarity with optoelectronic device characterisation 
• Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
• PhD or Masters in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics
