This role will involve optimising CI/CD pipelines, supporting high-performance computing (HPC) environments, and deploying containerised solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Support and enhance grid computing and HPC environments for hardware or system-level projects.
- Implement and manage containerisation solutions using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex software and hardware integration environments.
- Strong experience with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with grid computing and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure.
- Background in hardware-based development environments.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, branching strategies, and release management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of hardware development lifecycles and their integration with software tools.
- Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
