IC Resources is working with a client that is searching for an experienced engineer to join the ASIC development group to lead the CAD activities for the FE and DV domains. Applicants MUST be living within a European Time Zone (+/-2 hours). 

In this position you will be part of the development group and your mission will be to support FE and DV design users to get the job done. You will define and develop systems for RTL writing and regressing. Work directly with DV and FE teams to understand their issues and build solutions to fit their work. You will propose solutions to assist with frontend design and verification processes and help drive the methodology. In this role you will debug vendor tools and help drive fixes and workaround. You will work with EDA vendors to address issues and evaluate new solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

In this position you will be responsible for:
  • Building automated solutions to support environment setup for all users
  • Build flows to automate regression execution and reduce turnaround time
  • Build flows to support all FE development aspects
  • Provide a solution for ASIC and FPGA developers to automate their flows
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with at least one of the Tools – Questa (Modelsim), Xcelium or VCS
  • Experience with at least one of the Tools – Visualizer, Indigo or Verdi
  • Experience with Python/Perl is a must
  • Experience with Git/GitLab
  • Experience in working in a Linux environment is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vivado, Genus or DC is an advantage
  • Experience supporting – Questa CDC, Jasper or Spyglass is an advantage
  • Experience in C/C++ or other OOP languages is an advantage
  • Understanding Verilog or SystemVerilog is an advantage
Working: Remote with on site visits (UK). 

Start: ASAP
