Digital Design Manager

Based in Berkshire, this is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Design Manager to join a growing Semiconductor company developing communications technology that is helping to pave the way for AI scaling.

Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office) is available with this role. The Digital Design Manager will lead a team of 10-15 front-end RTL design engineers and be responsible for hiring, mentoring and driving engineering execution for the digital group.

The role will be around 30% technical hands-on work, 70% managerial responsibilities. The Digital Design Manager will work closely with the analog IC design, backend design and verification teams to identify and develop solutions for design flow improvement, and be the technical authority during sign-off.

Skills and experience required:

• At least a decade of experience working within Digital IC  / ASIC Design
• A strong understanding of the complete IC design flow, with particular expertise in frontend digital ASIC design
• Hands-on expertise with Verilog / SystemVerilog
• A good understanding of high speed / low power designs would be a strong plus
• Proven experience working within a technical leadership role
