Digital IC Tech Lead - SOC / Agile / Scrum

Working for a key player in the Semi's market, this is an exciting opportunity for an established, lead engineer, or a senior engineer who is looking to move in to technical leadership.

You will have a selection of exciting responsibilities focussing on the design, development and delivery of a new SOC flagship product designed for a variety of RF / wireless / broadband and IOT applications.

With this exciting new product and large scale project, the mix of IP & SOC experience is important - skills in IP integration are needed, as will the software integration of new components - in an Agile / Scrum delivery environment.


Applicants must be EU or UK nationals, as no sponsorship can be offered.

Responsibilities:

• providing technical and team leadership - coordinating duties
• be a key motivator in SoC development and innovation
• act as Agile/SCRUM Product Manager for the SoC
• IP ownership
• budget management
• product awareness / business acumen for future product strategy

Requirements / "nice to have" skills

• Degree in electronics / microelectronics engineering or similar field
• Automotive standards and process e.g. ISO 26262
• Understanding of AGILE / SCRUM methodologies
• Software integration / software delivery
• DevOps, CI / CD, automation
• Firmware / embedded
• 10+ years' experience in SOC / System-On-Chip design 
• IP development
