A US-based specialised technology firm is seeking a Director of Engineering to spearhead the development and deployment of next-generation ultra-low latency trading infrastructure across 150+ global markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with international teams and shape the future of financial technology.

You will be involved in coordinating global, cross-functional teams across hardware, software, DevOps, and trading systems along with align goals and streamline communication between diverse teams. You'll also translate design priorities into actionable project plans, manage high-priority tasks and resolve inter-team dependencies and refine processes for seamless integration during rapid development cycles.

What's required for this Director of Engineering position? 

• 8+ years of leadership experience in technical roles
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Familiarity with System Verilog, C++, Rust, Python, Jenkins, GitHub, and Jira
• Experience in hardware/software integration and testing
• Bonus: Knowledge of financial markets or algorithmic trading
