Electronics Technician

An opportunity has become available for an Electronics Technician to join a global fabless semiconductor company based in Edinburgh, Scotland!

As an Electronics Technician, your responsibilities would include:

• Assembly of electronic components and devices relating to battery monitoring technology.
• Testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting at component level.
• Repairs of faulty components and products.
• Maintaining electronic laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Assist with other duties as specified by management.

To be considered for the Electronics Technician position, you will need:

• Excellent soldering skills (IPC certification would be advantageous).
• Previous experience performing fault-finding on complex electronic components.
• Previous experience using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc).
• Hands-on attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
