Embedded Audio DSP Engineer

I am seeking an experienced Embedded Audio DSP Engineer with strengths in audio algorithm design and deployment to join my embedded audio tech client in Northern Germany. It is available on a hybrid basis and would suit somebody living in the areas of Bremen, Hannover or Hamburg. My client has a production ready product, develops nearly everything in-house including the software on the cusp of further funding and has multiple new partnership deals in the making. With ample opportunity for continued audio DSP R&D, it’s an excellent time to join!

Primary responsibilities

• Design, implementation and optimisation of audio signal processing algorithms, focused on the core development of active noise cancellation algorithms and signal enhancement solutions
• Prototyping and validation of audio algorithms for integration into embedded systems
• Embedded software development for audio processing on various audio chip

Essential experience

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or similar
• 4+ years full-time industry experience doing embedded DSP engineering for audio applications
• DSP (Digital signal processing) on various audio chips
• MATLAB/Simulink
• C/C++
• B2 German minimum
• Fluent English

Desired experience

• Fluent German
• Embedded DSP for audio applications within the automotive or industrial sector e.g. developing in-car audio systems
• Cabin acoustics experience

What’s on offer?

€75-85k

Hybrid working, but need to be within 2-3 hours of northern Germany as there will be some interaction with hardware on-site needed
