Embedded C/C++/Linux Software Engineer

Super new opportunity in central Bristol for an Embedded C/C++/linux/software Engineer to join an established team in a global company and take an active role in the full development lifecycle of SW feature on our clients wireless products.

Suitable Embedded C/C++ Engineer will have the following credentials:

• Strong C / C++ skills (ideally multi-threaded experience) and experience of real-time embedded software in the Linux environment. 
• Strong desire to write efficient software to be coupled alongside cutting-edge hardware for both homogenous and heterogenous platforms. 
• Knowledge of compilers or underlying hardware platforms. 
• Familiarity with CI and automation flows
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools (such as: gdb, perf, vtune) 
• SIMD/vector processing experience

This exciting role will see you implementing product features in C++,  Design and develop highly optimised C++ implementations targeting the latest CPUs. 

• Creating and implementing test plans and assist in improvements and maintenance of the automation test system that’s used for Continuous Integration
• Driving the system integration of new features
•  Working within a well-equipped lab with state-of-the-art test tools – RF equipment, UE emulators, commercial UEs
