An Embedded Linux Software Engineer is sought by this expanding organisation based near Munich. The Embedded Linux Software Engineer will be responsible for the complete development of the embedded Linux ecosystem (Build System, CI, Test Farm and Building Block Technologies) and for all integration, driver development and BSP configuration. The Embedded Linux Software Engineer will be working within a team including Software, Hardware and Support Engineers.
You will be an experienced Linux Software Engineer with a solid track record of working with Embedded Linux (preferably with a knowledge of different Linux distros), developing the Linux ecosystem, writing drivers, OS components and build systems. You should have C and C++ programming language knowledge and any experience with Bootloader or Kernel development would be beneficial as would some experience of working with the Open-Source Community. Exposure to some of the following is preferred: Jenkins, Gitlab, Buildroot, Yocto or CI. You need to speak fluent English and have intermediate German language capability and be committed to strengthening this.
