Embedded Software Engineer - Remote!

Salary: up to £75k + stock options

IC Resources are proud to recruit for an innovative CMOS / Silicon Photonics chip start-up who are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer.

The successful engineer will get the opportunity to implement, interface and optimise secure software directly into Xilinx FPGAs. Working in tandem with both the cryptography software and chip design hardware teams, you will be responsible for the the embedded software development for new hardware that will solve unique real-world problems whilst building software interfaces for existing and future solutions.

What’s Required?

• C programming and / or C++ and Rust
• Experience designing embedded systems
• Understanding of hardware / software interfaces
• Knowledge of programming FPGAs in C
• An understanding of VHDL and / or Verilog
• Any knowledge of Homomorphic Encryption, Post Quantum Cryptography or Embedded Security is desirable
