Location (Cambridge Outskirts)

Working Model - (3 Days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary - £80,000

Company Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the development of advanced communication systems. They are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in DSP and cellular technologies to contribute to their airborne cellular base station products.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR, on in-house software-defined radio platforms.

Embedded Software Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and integration of cellular base station products
• Work on embedded processor systems, particularly ARM-based processors.
• Design and optimise cellular protocols (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR) Layer 1.
• Develop and integrate FPGA-based solutions.
• Program in C and C++.

Embedded Software Engineer Required Skills:

• Experience in embedded systems development, including hardware commissioning and initial testing.
• In-depth knowledge of cellular protocols (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR) Layer 1.
• Strong background in ARM-based embedded processor systems.
• Proficiency in FPGA development and integration.
• Expertise in RTOS-based operating systems.
