Field Application Engineer – Semiconductor - Automotive Sensors

Field Application Engineer (FAE) required for a global semiconductor manufacturer who have offices across the globe. 

Based from their Paris office, the successful candidate will ideally have previous FAE experience, 5 years of working within the automotive industry and have strong technical knowledge of sensors.   

You will be working within an FAE team focused purely within the automotive industry, and would closely with the sales team and global customers.

This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office/3 days from home) and candidate would be expected to travel across France, as well as occasional travel across Italy, Spain, Portugal and Benelux.

This position comes with a competitive salary, bonus, company car and extensive benefits package.    For candidates willing to relocate to Paris, a relocation allowance will be offered. 

Requirements:

• Degree qualified within Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Sensor Semiconductor experience is a must 
• Ideally 3+ years’ experience in the automotive industry
• Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations internally and externally
• Fluent in French and English languages
• Flexible with a willingness to travel across EMEA
