Field Application Engineer - FPGA - EMEA

Field Application Engineer required for an exciting semiconductor start-up who are looking for their third hire for their European operations. 

The successful candidate will be degree qualified within Electronic/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or similar field, with experience within FPGA based architecture or digital design.

You will have extensive experience within FPGA/ASIC design, and be familiar with EDA tools and VHDL or Verilog.

Previous experience as a Field Application Engineer would be ideal, however not a must, as full training and support would be provided.  

This position will offer genuine progression to move into more senior roles as the company expands.

Field Application Engineer Requirements:

• Degree qualified within Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred
• Previous FAE /Application Engineering experience would be advantageous
• Proven background with FPGA or ASIC Design
• VHDL and EDA Tools experience
• Knowledge of Embedded Processor Design Tools
• Strong customer facing skills as well as excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Be comfortable travelling across EMEA as and when required
