Field Application Engineer - Power Semiconductors

An exciting new opportunity for a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join a global Semiconductor company leading innovations in silicon carbide. This role can be based remotely, from anywhere in Germany.

Our client is a fast-growing company now focusing expansion in EMEA. They seek an experienced Field Application Engineer with strong leadership skills to head up a small team of Technical Support Engineers, lead demand creation activities and deliver technical support to customers and distribution partners in Europe and America. The role offers a blend of technical and leadership responsibilities in power semiconductors and power supplies, and will involve around 30% travel.

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer with:

• A number of years’ experience working as a Field Application Engineer within Power semiconductor technology
• Knowledge of applications in Power supplies, UPS/Inverter (and OBC/EV Charging or Solar Inverter design will be added advantage)
• Fluent English language skills (German language skills of course a definite benefit!)
• Eligibility to work within Germany
