Senior Field Application Engineer - RFID

A Semiconductor Manufacturer who have specialised in RFID for 30 years is actively looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer to join an experienced and dynamic team.  Suitable candidates will ideally have experience with RFID, Antennas or RF, as well as strong IC design experience.

This position is not only providing technical support but you will also be involved in defining new products and go-to-market strategies.  You will have strong input into new designs, and you will have close contact with the customers.

You will speak fluent English.  Additional languages such as French or German would be highly desirable.   Candidate will be expected to travel between 10-20% across EMEA.

Requirements:

• Strong Electronics Engineering Background
• RFIC IC Architecture and system design experience would be advantageous
• Understanding of RFID systems and communication protocols
• Experience working with a technical customer facing role
• Degree/Masters within Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or related subject 
• Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations
• Flexible with a willingness to travel up to 20% across EMEA
