Field Application Engineer - Semiconductors (m/w/d)

A global manufacturer of industry-leading power products (including Silicon Carbide Power Devices, Silicon Controlled Rectifiers, IGBTs and more) is seeking a Field Application Engineer to add more power to their team in Germany / Europe. You will develop and deploy application focussed strategies for applications in different industries such as: Industrial, Renewable Energy, White Goods and Charging Infrastructure. As the Field Application Engineer you will provide deep technical support to the customer R+D teams and support them in finding the best solutions for their applications. You will work closely with colleaugues from the sales + marketing department to discover and win new design opportunities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or similar
• Strong experience with power components / applications
• Experience in technical customer support or application / R+D engineering
• Ability to engage and present to internal and external stakeholders
• Fluency in English (German a big plus)
• Willingness to travel frequently
