Field Application Engineer - Wireless Connectivity - EMEA

A leading IC Design company producing highly integrated wireless products and mixed-signal SoC's for IoT applications and consumer devices, is looking to hire a Field Application Engineer to support internal sales teams and customers across EMEA.

You will provide end-to-end technical support from customer engagement to volume shipment, working with sales/marketing team promoting products, evaluating technical capability and solution/schedule readiness, preparing documents, reference design and training to customers.   You will provide field problem-solving over project execution to design win and into production.

Suitable candidates will have a technical background and qualification within electronic engineering, as well as hands-on design and engineering experience with wireless connectivity and/or audio technologies. 


This role will work across markets such as smart home, wireless audio, wearable and healthcare.

This is a home-based role with travel across EMEA, typically up to 30%.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree with 3+ yrs FW development and customer support experience on Bluetooth/BLE/BLE mesh and/or Zigbee stack or closely related communication protocol
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded MCU and IDE (Eclipse), familiar with basic embedded components such as I2C, SPI, UART, ADC and PWM
• Hands-on with lab equipment such as scope, logic analyzer and sniffer tool preferable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Uncompromised team-work mind set
• Experienced in generating quality application notes
• Be comfortable working remotely, with regular travel across EMEA
