Field Application Engineer

For our global customer with a focus on analog and mixed signal IC components, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on industrial applications.

Based in Munich, our client is a specialised leader in sensors and power management and offers solutions such as magnetic sensors, isolators, power supplies and other components.

In addition to an exciting area of responsibility with great decision-making authority, our customer offers a very attractive salary package with a 100% home office option.

The successful Field Application Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conducting customer visits and defining all potential projects
• Providing professional technical support, building a long-term customer relationship through excellent technical communication
• Recommending suitable products with a proactive approach to customers
• Solving customers' technical problems through on-site application support and internal support
• Continuously following up customer project developments, execute business rollout plans with the sales team

Suitable candidates for this role of Field Application Engineer will have:

• A Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Several years of experience working as a Field Application Engineer within the Semiconductor field
• Knowledge and understanding of analog IC, e.g. isolators, drivers, sensors, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel
