An exciting opportunity has become available for a Field Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of equipment for the semiconductor industry based in the Stuttgart region.

As a Field Support Engineer, your responsibilities would include:
  • Accountable for global technical escalation management
  • Responsible to define and measure support requirements for new company product development ensuring supportability at the lowest support cost
  • Provide subject matter expertise in defining Service and End User documentation and training for all New Product Introduction
  • Conduct training to propagate knowledge to all regional service organisations worldwide
  • Responsible for installed base product quality, reliability, and compatibility
  • Drive continuous improvement globally in enhancing the capability or efficiency in delivering support to the end customer
  • Recognised as the global technical support expert for company systems
To be considered for the Field Support Engineer role, you will need:
  • Effective communication in spoken and written English
  • Excellent global teamwork skills
  • Process-oriented, structured, and analytical thought process
  • Can do attitude, proactive and self-disciplined
  • Customer-focused and understanding of customer requirements and needs
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mech. Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Physics, or related - ideally with experience as an R&D, Production, or Support Engineer
  • Successfully managed cross-functional and cross-geographical projects
  • Structured and success-oriented problem solver
