Finance Manager and Controller

This world leading technology organisation are seeking a Finance Manager and Controller to be based in at their offices in Wangen in Allgäu. The Finance Manager and Controller will be responsible for leading the finance function in Germany including all accounting and controlling activities. The Finance Manager and Controller will support critical business decisions ensuring maximum profitability of the business. The Finance Manager and Controller will demonstrate excellent financial analysis and technical accounting skills and will be comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced, multi-national company.

After successfully completing your Accounting or Finance degree, you will have gained 8+ years relevant accounting experience in with some knowledge of German finance and accounting gaining exposure to business analysis, operations, planning, M&A, accounting or FP&A. You should also be able to demonstrate a successful track record managing a small team and have a good knowledge of revenue recognition. Any experience in project-based business and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and HGB would be beneficial as would experience working with a manufacturing organisation. You need fluent English and strong German language skills.
