Firmware Manager - £80k-£90k, Coventry based

Here is an opportunity to join a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of cutting-edge fire safety products and systems. The Firmware Manager will have the opportunity to drive the design both new and legacy products and should have a background with competent technical skills and experience with the full product development lifecycle.

The Firmware Manager will lead and mentor the firmware engineering team, promote best practices, drive technical development aligned with industry norms, authorise and maintain technical documents, participate in peer reviews, and ensure a quality-first approach to design, with a focus on structured problem-solving through formal processes when necessary.

Skills required from the Firmware Manager

• Extensive knowledge of C, bare metal and RTOS
• Experience within Embedded Software Development
• Software/Firmware Design Experience
• Ideally experience with low-power devices
