This company are making huge changes in the way that the internet is accessible on our mobile phones. They are designing chips to put into satellites to give complete global coverage wherever you are in the world! In Q1 next year they plan to launch their first five satellites.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Lead a team of FPGA engineers to deliver high-quality FPGA designs for space applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, software developers, and project managers, to define project requirements and specifications
- Design and implement complex FPGA-based systems, including RTL design, simulation, and synthesis, tailored for space applications.
- Conduct thorough analysis and optimization of FPGA designs to meet performance, power, and timing requirements in the space environment.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, coding standards, and best practices for FPGA development
- Leverage advantages of working with Xilinx devices, such as familiarity with Xilinx FPGA architectures, toolsets, and libraries, enabling efficient development and optimization of FPGA designs for space missions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8+ years industry experience, 3+ year’s experience of Technical Leadership roles
- Strong proficiency in FPGA design tools and languages like VHDL or Verilog.
- Proven experience in leading a team of FPGA engineers.
- Solid understanding of FPGA architectures, constraints, and optimization techniques.
- Expertise in digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and their implementation on FPGA platforms.
- Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA architectures, toolsets, and libraries.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
