Functional Safety Engineer - Semiconductor

Looking for a new challenge? I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to join a growing consultancy in Milan. You will work with some of the major players within the semiconductor industry, to support in the definition and implementation of functional safety requirements into their designs as well as contribute to the development of ISO26262 work products, with a focus on process systematic capability aspects and Safety Analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, DFA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the correct execution of the Functional Safety Life Cycle 
• Lead Functional Safety Change Impact Analysis and support Change Management, Document Management, and Configuration Management plan.
• Compile the IP Safety Plans, Safety Case, and Safety Manual.
• Create Safety Analyses, including FMEA, FMEDA, and DFA, and prepare related safety reports.
• Define or contribute to HW Functional Safety Requirements and Technical Safety Requirements, and work with architects, designers, and design verification leaders to implement them.
• Lead the revision of the Safety Plan, Technical Safety Concept, and SEooC Assumptions..

Requirements:

• Experience in Functional Safety Management or architecture, including Safety Analysis and Safety Planning.
• Must have experience within Silicon, or ASIC design
• Strong understanding of ISO26262 standards and processes.
• Experience with FMEA, FMEDA, and DFA.
