I am working with a dynamic and fast-growing consultancy that specialises in functional safety and quality across various high-tech industries, including robotics, medical devices, automotive, and semiconductors. They are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join their team, who thrives on variety and is eager to work across multiple industries.

This Functional safety Expert position, offers a blend of hands-on engineering as well as the opportunity to provide and in-depth safety training to help their clients meet the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead functional safety engineering projects, working hands-on with clients across a variety of sectors (e.g., robotics, medical, automotive, semiconductor).
- Develop safety concepts, conduct hazard analyses, and perform risk assessments
- Deliver functional safety training seminars and workshops for clients, helping them implement and maintain safety protocols.
- Provide consulting on best practices and process improvements for safety-critical systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and product teams to integrate functional safety into all aspects of development.
- Proven experience as a Functional Safety Engineer, with strong knowledge of industry standards like ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ISO 13849.
- Experience working in any of the following sectors:
- Robotics
- Medical devices
- Automotive
- Semiconductors
- Hands-on experience with safety analysis, safety concepts, and risk assessments.
- Ability to communicate complex safety concepts and deliver engaging training sessions for clients.
- Flexibility to manage both engineering projects and training/consulting responsibilities.
- Ability to work remotely, with a preference for candidates located in the DACH region.
- A competitive salary up to €110,000, depending on your experience and expertise.
