GaN Process Development Engineer

Our Newcastle based client is currently searching for a GaN Process Development Engineer to be responsible for fabricating batches of wafers and to work closely with advanced process development engineers to define new process requirements and targets. Characterising new device technologies will be required as well as participating in on-going continuous yield/performance efforts and establish PDKs for GaN devices.

Required skills for the GaN Process Development Engineer will include:

• Strong semiconductor wafer fab process experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of GaN devices
• Familiarity with process control (SPC) and design-for-manufacture practices 
• Strong communications skills
• Qualified to degree or Ph.D. level in EE, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or related discipline
