We are looking for a Global Commodity Manager to join a leader in the electronics industry, specialising in areas such as PCB, complex cable assemblies, connectors and/or the procurement of Semiconductors. This Global Commodity Manager will take responsibility in driving the procurement strategy and lead supplier management as they continue to expand.
As well as the below responsibilities, as the Global Commodity Manager you will support the training and development of the wider procurement team, supporting them in their development. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Japan up to 5 times per year to engage with key suppliers, due to this a background working with Japan will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Manage global sourcing for PCB, complex cable assemblies, and connectors.
- Develop and execute commodity strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and training to the procurement team.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Prepare and present reports to senior and C-level management.
- Extensive experience in the electronics or semiconductor industries, particularly in an engineering environment.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, particularly at the senior management level.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Attractive fixed salary plus 30% bonus.
- 30 days of holiday, with the option to buy additional days.
