Based in Greece, our leading mobile graphics client is seeking a GPU Architect to join them. This role can be based in Athens or Patras.
In this role the GPU Architect will lead the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) Architecture team and be central in designing and developing next-generation GPU and AI IP technologies.
The GPU Architect will define compute, memory, and power requirements for Graphics and AI use cases, which will guide hardware and software implementation decisions for future generations of devices.
This is a hybrid role, offering an excellent salary, bonus and RSUs.

Essential requirements for the role of GPU Architect include:
- A BSc / MSc in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years’ experience within digital IC design and architecture / micro-architecture, with a solid background in GPU (or CPU / RISC-V / DSP)
- Strong design experience within any of the following: Memory Systems - DDR / HBM, cache coherency / embedded CPU, firmware, Custom ISA
- Skills in system C / C / C++ / high level synthesis
- Excellent coding and automation skills - APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, OpenCL etc
- performance / modelling/ simulation
- memory systems - DDR, HBM
- Experience in Graphics, AI or CPU Processor designs would be preferred; however our client is open to reviewing individual profiles who have experience in one or more of the following areas: e.g. lidar sensors / IPU / IMU / VPU - vision processors / AI vision sensors / hardware accelerators / VPU - vectors / GPU algorithms / computer arithmetic
