GPU Design Engineer

GPU ASIC Design Engineer The company is seeking a talented GPU Design Engineer to join its semiconductor design team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ASIC design, RTL development, and GPU architecture. As a GPU Design Engineer, the individual will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-performance graphics processing units (GPUs) for cutting-edge computing systems.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with cross-functional teams to develop GPU architecture based on performance and power requirements
• Designs and implements RTL for GPU in SystemVerilog
• Collaborates with verification engineers to ensure functional correctness of GPU design
• Contributes to the design of GPU-related components within a larger system-on-chip (SoC) architecture
• Performs synthesis and timing closure for GPU blocks
• Maintains and optimizes GPU design through scripting and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field
• Proficient in semiconductor design and GPU architecture
• A strong understanding of ASIC design flow and RTL development
• Experience with CPU and GPU microarchitecture
• Proficient in SystemVerilog and scripting languages
• Familiar with synthesis, timing closure, and power analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Day-to-day As a GPU Design Engineer, the individual will collaborate with hardware and software teams to define and implement GPU architecture. They will participate in design reviews, analyse performance metrics, and contribute to the optimisation of GPU designs. Additionally, they will engage in ongoing learning and research to stay updated with the latest advancements in GPU technology and semiconductor design.
