Having recently opened a brand-new office in Bristol they’re on the lookout for a passionate Hardware Engineer to join their experience team and contribute to their ever-evolving success story.

Technical Responsibilities:
  • Schematic capture and board designs, with a focus on power supply design.
  • PCB design and layout, including high-speed links.
  • Coordinating with PCB manufacturers and component suppliers.
  • Optimising designs for manufacture, considering cost-effectiveness, and peak performance.
  • Board bring up.
Technical Experience Required:
  • Proven industry experience working on digital high-speed designs including Serdes, PCIe or Ethernet.  
  • Demonstrated experience of schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium Designer, or industry-standard tools).
  • Profound understanding of PCB signal integrity, materials, trace matching, and impedance control.
  • The ability to craft complex multi-phase power supplies.
  • Ability to take ownership of significant projects from inception to completion.
Bonus:
  • Knowledge of lab/test equipment is a plus, but not a deal-breaker.
  • Familiarity with hand and reflow soldering.
