Hardware Validation Lead Engineer

IC Resources is supporting a leading provider of semiconductor IP is looking for a hands-on FPGA Design Integration & Validation Engineer to join their PCIe/CXL validation team in Aix-en-Provence. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge FPGA platforms and contribute to silicon-proven IPs used in data-intensive systems.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of integrating brand-new IP blocks on top-tier FPGA technologies such as Agilex-I, Virtex Ultrascale+, and Versal Premium. As the FPGA Design Integration & Validation Engineer, Your work will focus on building and simulating reference and demo designs, ensuring timing closure, and debugging hardware on advanced server platforms. You'll also get the chance to develop and showcase live demos at international trade shows.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in FPGA/RTL design and hardware integration
• Strong Verilog coding and simulation (Questa, VCS, or NCSIM)
• FPGA flows: Vivado and/or Quartus
• Experience with timing closure, SLR crossing, and in-system debug
• Understanding of PCIe/CXL protocols
• Familiarity with RTOS integration on SoCs (Versal Premium desirable)
• CI tools: Python, Jenkins, Git
