I’m working with an award-winning start-up revolutionising the development of infrared sensors for a connected and clean future. Born out of research at the University of Sheffield, their team of industry experts is committed to creating a new class of infrared sensors.

These sensors will be at the forefront of robotics, driver safety features leveraging LIDAR technology, fast and secure communication networks, and cutting-edge 3D imaging solutions.

Having recently released their Gen 1 product and secured a new project they’re looking for a Head of Electronics to build and mentor a team of Electronics Engineers developing hardware across the product development lifecycle from concept to production.

For this Head of Electronics position, the client is looking to speak with people with a proven background in product development and testing. Reporting to the CEO you’ll spearhead the scaling of their first product and take ownership of the new project.

Their ideal candidate profile would include:

• Strong understanding of electronics circuit design including both digital and analog hardware.
• Experience with low-noise analog design principles and test methods.
• Significant industry experience in project leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Ability to work closely with key stakeholders to ensure projects meet timeframes and quality standards.
• Experience providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
