As the Head of Engineering will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary engineering team that includes Digital Design, Software, Electronics, Mechanical, and Nanofabrication disciplines. This leadership role involves guiding the development of cutting-edge quantum networking hardware and overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacturing and market release. Additionally, the Head of Engineering will collaborate closely with company leadership to align technical strategies with broader company goals, while mentoring the engineering teams and fostering a culture of innovation and growth within the organisation.

Skillset/Background Required:
  • Extensive industry experience, with a proven track record in leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience taking prototypes through product development, manufacturing, and release to customers, including product certification.
  • Familiarity with project management techniques, process and workflow management tools.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development processes, especially within early prototyping and R&D.
  • Experience in engineering best practices, with a focus on driving technical innovation while maintaining product quality.
