Head of Machine Learning

I am seeking a Head of Machine Learning with technical leadership, people management and commercial experience developing ML products for embedded hardware; an excellent opportunity to join my client on a remote, hybrid or on-site basis.

You will be the head of a growing ML team at an AI-chip start-up developing the next generation of processor intelligence. My client’s product is geared towards a wide selection of applications, from robotics to automotive.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the VP, you will be the technical lead and line manager for the ML team
• Contributing to the research and development of new IP
• Defining and driving the product roadmap

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics or similar
• Minimum 5 years technical leadership and people management, working on embedded AI
• Building ML products on embedded hardware, AI processor experience ideal
• Designing complex ML software targeting hardware (e.g. custom ASICs)
• Breadth of understanding across different computer architectures
• Excellent communication skills in English
