Head of Mechanical Engineering

A growing satellite communications company based in London is seeking a Head of Mechanical Engineering to join their team.

As a Head of Mechanical Engineering, you would have a number of core responsibilities that include:

• Leading the Mechanical design team
• Support Project Managers in the delivery of project plans within set timescales
• Final approval and review of all mechanical project work
• Ensure that the Mechanical design capability within the team is maintained and kept up to date
• Mentorship of junior members of staff

To be considered for the Head of Mechanical Engineering opportunity you must have a strong and proven track record of mechanical design, ideally have a background in the development of technology for the satellite communications/RF industry, an understanding of the implications of integrating designs into wider electronics systems, and be comfortable leading growing teams.
