Head of Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations or a Operations Manager who is taking the next step in their career. As the Head of Operations you will join a company based in Cambridge to drive growth and excellence in their operations team.

As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing contract manufacturers, logistics, quality and order fulfilment capabilities to surpass customer expectations. The primary focus will be on adeptly managing the complex and diverse supply chain to ensure seamless delivery and top-tier quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team responsible for overseeing the full order fulfilment process, from production to delivery.
• Strategically manage electronics volume manufacturing and logistics operations.
• Collaborate closely with global Contract Manufacturers (CM) to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
• Quickly adapt to the demands of the new Tier1 contract, ensuring prompt delivery and exceptional service.
• Report directly to the COO and contribute significantly to shaping the company's operational strategy.

Qualifications:

• Extensive background in electronics volume manufacturing and logistics, with a demonstrated history of success.
• Strong experience in working with global Contract Manufacturers (CM) is imperative.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with acute attention to detail.
