Head of Projects

I am seeking a highly skilled skilled Head of Project Management to lead the successful execution of projects for our client in the space industry. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical, commercial, and programmatic aspects of the project, ensuring its timely completion and customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Project Management & Work Preparation department, including personnel responsibility and technical development of employees.
• Manage customer projects and internal projects related to the development, qualification, and production of power electronics for space applications, utilising project management methods such as PMI/PMBOK.
• Take overall responsibility for the project's time, scope, cost, and quality.
• Implement necessary project tracking measures, including Q-Gate processes and documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor work packages and project orders through the purchasing department.
• Act as the central point of contact for the customer, handling change and complaint management effectively.
• Drive continuous process improvement and optimise work processes in terms of quality, cost, and time.
• Act as the Deputy of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) when required.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in employee management.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methods and a proven track record in managing electronics development projects.
• Fluency in English (negotiation level) and German (fluent).
