Job Title: Junior Firmware and Operating Systems Engineer

Salary: €50,000

Overview:
Develop low- and mid-level software, including BIOS, firmware, and device drivers, to enable innovative hardware features and optimise system performance.

Junior OS Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain low-level software (BIOS, firmware) for novel hardware architectures.
• Create Linux device drivers to expose hardware features, telemetry, and acceleration.
• Extend emulation, simulation, and vitalisation tools.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to drive hardware/software co-design.

Junior OS Engineer Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, Linux kernel internals, and pre-boot processes.
• Proficiency in low-level languages (C, Rust) with assembly and bare-metal development experience.
• Familiarity with Git, CI pipelines, and task management tools.
